Decatone Studios provide a comfortable , un-stuffy environment to professionaly record , track & master professional audio , suitable not only for bands of all genres, but also spoken word and small choirs and classical ensembles.
Third party engineers and producers are more than welcome...
The studio comprises of a large mixing room with custom monitoring , looking into a drum/vocal booth .
Logic Pro X is our DAW of choice but third party engineers are welcome to bring in their own in advance .
Microphone tie lines are also provided in our writing room /kitchen .
An Extensive third party software library ..including Izotope 10 , Slate... and a large selection of Acustica plug ins....
Recording /Tracking room Fee's start from £300 per 8 hr day including the Engineer and full use of the writing room .. with £80 discounts for Students and any bands affiliated with the basement door charity... Freshly cooked Homemade food and drinks can be provided at an extra charge ... call in advance for a menu...
Writing / Rehearsal Room only (you can make as much noise as you like , but currently no PA to hand) - £20 per hour
post session : STEMS - £20 per hour (not included the day rate )
Production - Standard Production points are applied where appropriate for physical releases.
